On June 26th, 2015, the Supreme Court made same-sex marriage legal. The White House and other government buildings were illuminated in rainbow colors to commemorate the occasion. Since the gay population represents only 1.5 percent of the total population on the United States, I believe that the majority of Americans, like me, find the rainbow illumination of the White House offensive. I therefore am calling for rainbow illuminations to be banned on all federal government buildings.
