In September 2012, Representative Paul Brown made remarks (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=rikEWuBrkHc) at the Liberty Baptist Church that suggest that he does not have even a rudimentary understanding of the most essential scientific theories. He claims that the Earth is under 10,000 years old and that evolution, the big bang theory, and embryology are "lies from the Pit of Hell." These are all scientific theories that have been very well established and have not a single shred of proof against them. It is imperative that a person in a position with such power regarding the future of science and technology in this country not an anti-scientific agenda. Please remove him from his position on the Committee and help secure the future of our beloved nation.
