Remove restrictions for 3rd party candidates to seek office on the state and national levels.

Created by C.R. on September 25, 2011

Many state and national elections have outrageously unfair restrictions on individuals seeking to be placed on the ballot that do not run as one a Democrat or Republican. Cash payments as well as signatures that are much harder to acquire when not a member of a statewide party or caucus handcuffs the ability of the average citizen or group of average citizens for promoting 3rd party candidates. This keeps different political interests from being heard, stifles debate and polarizes our public discourse. The White House should take actions to promote public service in the form of elected positions for any and all interested Americans, regardless of party affiliation.
