remove the restrictions for those who are trying to join the military with GEDs

Created by G.L. on December 29, 2011

It has been stated that if one desires to join the United States Armed Forces( thus being any branch of service) but has obtained a GED in place of a highschool diploma, that individual needs to obtain 15 college credits in addition to the GED. It is also known that a GED is supposedly a LEGAL EQUIVALENT to a highschool diploma; and a student with a highschool diploma is not denied entry into the military. Therefore, having made known that both the GED and a highschool diploma are equal, there should be no discrimination between the two. I ask that the Honorable President Obama please consider ways to get around this distinction, being that any form of discrimination is unconstitional.
