For over thirty years, Ringwood has been identified as a Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) for the Ringwood Mines Superfund Site. Our citizens have had to live on top of this pollution since the 1960’s. Ford is solely responsible for creating and dumping this waste. Ringwood is named as a PRP due to its acquisition of the properties through tax issues and Ford’s gifting. We want to finally settle our liability so that the EPA will no longer use the PRP designation to divide our community. We want the chance to stand united and finally push for a solution that works for all residents. Ford created this problem and Ford should be solely liable for the cleanup. Please help our community remove this unjust liability and stand together.
