Many people have died due to firearms being available to the public in particular innocent children http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_school_shootings_in_the_United_States. Law enforcement would be encouraged then to put down their firearms and only use minimal or non violent forms of enforcement on the front line. Lets take step towards a peaceful society. Remove the sale of firearms to all members of the public and the repeal the Second Amendment.
