The improper handling of classified material is a serious crime. Many individuals have been prosecuted for lesser offenses than those committed by Hilary Clinton. During her time as Secretary of State, she knowingly used a private email server to transmit official government communication. This provided secrecy from government oversight and allowed her to bypass several FOIA requests. Furthermore, the transmission and retention of classified material in this system violates criminal statutes, specifically 18 USC 793 and 18 USC 1924.
Until this matter is cleared by Justice Department, her security clearance should be revoked. The reinstatement of her clearance should only come from a thorough reinvestigation, free of government beaurocracy.
