Sheriff Mueller said in an open letter he will not enforce any federal law concerning assault weapon bans in his jurisdiction. Therefore he is not fulfilling his oath of office to the people of Linn County. He should be removed from office immediately. If what he is saying is true in Linn County as long as a judge , himself, or other elected officials find a law unconstitutional your free to go. In every case of local or state governments ignoring federal laws in our nation's history there have been no positive effects. Please help to sign this petition and remove Sheriff Mueller from office. Thank you.
