Fellow Americans, today I stumbled upon a great injustice in our society. As I was drinking my morning cup o joe, in true American fashion, I attempted to post a Facebook status about a frankly hilarious story regarding my most recent visit to the Piggly Wiggly. When I was floored by my inability to spell the word receipt (I can only now spell it because I asked a friend)! Who put a silent 'p' in the middle of the word! The horror! The inhumanity! Why!?
I beg you fellow freedom loving Americans to sign this petition. Together we can work towards are more logical, less deceptive spelling of the word receipt.
