Skip Bayless currently owns one of the very few positions of morning opinion shows in sports. He has parlayed this into acting ridiculous for years on sports shows and saying things for the sake of garnering attention. As an American Sports Television consumer, I demand the right to have sensical and worthwhile sports discussion, regardless of a network like FOX or ESPN, who truly have a monopoly on sports content, choosing to use Bayless as a mechanism for garnering ratings by attracting the largest fanbases as if it were a local show.
We as American consumers deserve the right to decent national sports discussion, and Skip Bayless has prevented that right for years. If the government will do nothing about the ESPN/FOX monopoly control over sports television, then at least ban Bayless.
