The Democratic Party Founder, Thomas Jefferson, was a life long prolific slave owner. He owned 100's of negro slaves in his lifetime and fought against British declarations to end slavery. Even his own slaves had to run away from his Monticello plantation to enjoy freedom and liberty. Memorializing Thomas Jefferson is akin to memorializing slavery, racism and injustice. His memorial must be removed!
