Social Security provides nearly all income for one quarter of the elderly, and more than half for other seniors.Social Security belongs to the people who have worked hard all their lives and contributed to it. Social Security does not belong to politicians in Washington to be used as a piggy bank.
The "Super Committee," in Congress, which was established as part of the debt deal, should keep its' hands off Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare. They do not contribute a penny to the deficit. We oppose any cuts to Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare benefits, including raising the retirement age or lowering the cost of living adjustment. Closing all these " CRAZY" tax loopholes and ensuring that millionaire pay their fair share in taxes. Stop giving us up we earned our benefits.
