Remove Soda from Vending Machines in Schools Across America

Created by E.Y. on February 18, 2013

Removing soda from vending machines in schools will be a huge step to tackling the overbearing problem of childhood obesity that we face in America. About a third of all American children are obese or severely overweight, and this is problem we need to act against fast. It is proven that cutting out soda from ones daily diet, will promote significant weight loss and is a great start to a healthy diet. This is not a petition to ban soda from the diets of children, just simply to make it less available in hopes that soda slowly exits on its own. Neglecting the obesity problem among children will lead to serious consequences in the future, which is why we need to act now and do what we can to slow down and eventually halt the growing number of obese children in the United States.
