remove sound suppressors from the list of NFA( Title II of the Federal firearms laws) because of sporting purposes.

Created by M.W. on November 15, 2012

We wish to remove sound suppressors from the NFA(Title II). Because these are becoming more popular with sportsmen and women. These tools now have more sporting purposes than ever before. It should no longer be regulated by the NFA. There is a misconception of these tools by 'Hollywood' and anti-freedom pundits. While federal documents label these as "Silencers" they are not. These should be regulated no differently than any current handgun laws. Currently the U.S.A. has laws that regulate against criminals and those with criminal backgrounds from purchasing firearms and fire arms accessories. There is no longer a need to regulate such tools, as this, at the federal level. Justification for such regulations have long been gone.
