Abolish speed limits on interstates and state highways. Having no speed limit does not mean everyone is going to go nuts and endanger other drivers or themselves by going too fast. In fact it will ensure that a driver is not spending some of the attention to look out for cops, taking that attention away from the road, frustration added, and the majority of drivers will be most comfortable driving with the same speed as the limit is currently set to. Common sense will dictate what speed one is comfortable with, without being ticketed and resulting in insurance spikes and payouts to the state. Small streets where children may be at play or that are otherwise prone to accidents are different but interstates & state highways should not have a set limit, state and insurance companies profiting.
