Remove Speed Limits on Interstates and Extremely Open Roads

Created by D.B. on December 12, 2012

It is no secret that Americans love the open road and the freedoms that come along with it. One limiting thing is when you are on an open interstate, there is absolutely no need to limit a person's ability to get where they are going as fast as they can.

There are far more useful things State Troopers and local police can do with taxpayer's money besides sitting in the median of a 10 mile stretch hoping to catch a "criminal" driving 85 in a capped 70 mph zone.

The interstate speed limit is an archaic relic that needs to be updated with the advances in vehicles and people's desire to get places faster. PLEASE REMOVE interstate speed limits in locations where they are not needed!
