Remove standardized testing from undergraduate, graduate and law school admissions.

Created by J.J. on January 13, 2013

This petition is to remove standardized testing from educational institution's admissions process because it creates an inequitable and discriminatory advantage over students seeking higher education. Students should be chosen on merits rather than standardized test scores, which are weighted incongruous and disproportionate to other measures. Colleges' undergraduate, graduate, and law school programs should no longer place emphasis on ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, and LSAT scores. The Obama Administration should proscribe standardized testing because it is used to disenfranchise those seeking higher education. Standardized tests do not take into account intangible and external factors that may hinder a student's score, and because of it, automatically deemed an unqualified by admissions staff.
