Remove state-level criminal penalties on the use, possession, and cultivation of marijuana in the state of Georgia. Patients who have "written certification" from their physician that marijuana may alleviate his or her condition will be legally allowed to treat said illness with marijuana. It is time stop criminalizing a plant and the people who use it. Locking up people who would rather ingest a natural herb than pop some pills is not only insane, but unconstitutional. Example (The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation...). Start upholding the Constitution and what it stands for.
