With the passing of New York State's tyrannical and oppressive new gun laws, in addition to a variety of other laws passed by the city and state of New York (such as a ban on large-sized sodas) that impede on the rights of its citizens, we the people request that the Statue of Liberty be promptly removed from the possession of the state of New York. This state is no longer a representation of American freedom. Rather, it more accurately emulates the command and control of a police state.
