Mr. James Youngjohn at 1308 Edgewater Beach Road in Valparaiso, Indiana has been polluting Flint Lake with a sunken boat and garbage for years. My family has reached out to newspapers, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). We have received no assistance in getting the his sunken boat and other garbage polluting the lake. We have been trying for years as this is where our family was raised. Where we live, laugh, and love. This is our home and we need your help protecting the lake from further destruction.
We have received advice such as, "buy the boat from him" and "he's just old, wait for him to pass". This is unacceptable. Please help! We want to preserve this lake for future generations!
