This petition is an effort to remove Suppressors from the list of items regulated by the National Firearms Act. We move for this change as Suppressors act in a manner that makes firearms safer by lowering the decibel level of blasts associated with shooting sports, hobbies, and hunting therefore reducing potential damage to hearing. Suppressors certainly do not add to the potential danger of a firearm and therefore there is no logical reason for Suppressors to be a regulated item.
