Suppressors are currently on the NFA items list, however they have no place on that list. They are a tool for protecting the hearing of the shooter, as well as making pistols more enjoyable to shoot by adding weight to the firearm reducing muzzle flip. Furthermore, they are often misconstrued as a tool of Assassins when, in fact, the real world suppressor is nowhere near as quiet to its Hollywood counterpart. In addition, the forms required to obtain a suppressor takes government resources away from more important issues.
