Suppressors are an accessory & cannot harm anyone, yet are controlled the same as fully automatic weapons. Respectfully request removing suppressors from NFA control and have them follow the same requirements as a pistol purchase.
Suppressors are legal yet many local municipalities refuse to sign off allowing its law abiding citizens to own one. A suppressor is an accessory that cannot do any harm yet it is controlled just like a fully automatic weapon also costing an additional per item tax of $200.
This should be reclassified and controlled under the same guidelines as when buying a pistol.
