Every year, corrupted officials from the Christian/Catholic Church lobby the government to change laws and prevent certain things from happening in the name of God. They put more of our tax dollars towards their own personal endeavors than they ever will towards helping the sick or the poor. They are using our money to violate the constitution. This country was founded on religious freedom, and yet government officials are taking bribes to hinder science and technology - in fact it is estimated that the Church alone has set back science by 1500 years.
Keep religion out of our laws, period. It is unconstitutional. I feel the Church is misusing its tax exempt status to further an agenda that is only exclusive to religious people - and that by definition is an attack on the rest of us.
