Remove tax exempt status of non-profits who use their influence to propagate deception and intolerance here and abroad.

We know the vitriol and hate waged on LGBT persons in countries like Uganda and Russia. Much of this originated by nonprofits in the U.S. Here we have checks and balances to moderate their extremism. That is not always the case in foreign lands.
Scott Lively (Abiding Truth Ministries) was a key U.S. player behind the 2009 Anti-Homosexuality Bill in Uganda, In Zimbabwe, the American Center for Law and Justice pushed the new constitution, approved in the spring of 2013, to prohibit same-sex marriage and preserve penal code laws criminalizing sodomy and homosexual acts.
This is only two examples of nonprofits using their influence to moderate public policy elsewhere. Join me and sign this petition to take away their tax exempt status. Do not finance or support their hate and deception.
