Remove the tax exemption from the Calothic Church under the grounds that it profits and acts as a business.

Created by N.M. on July 08, 2014

The Catholic church has been reported as spending $170,000,000,000 in 2010 alone, only $5,000,000,000 of that to charitable organizations. $3,300,000,000 has been paid out in the last 15 years to sexual abuse settlements, with that number growing. The fact that the church can rank in the top 20 businesses in spending and revenue, combined with the fact they spend a sizable portion of that money paying employees, would mean that if they were to pay taxes as a regular business the dent in economic debt could drop. Or we could at least having money in the national budget. Either way, they should pay taxes rather than being shielded while church corruption runs rampant and the country suffers monetarily. They have a lot to contribute though they show no regard for this country.
