This petition is created for the purpose of removing tax exemptions from the organization known as "Church of Scientology" and other similar organizations claiming to operate in the capacity of a religious center.
It is unclear how this organization acquired such an exemption in the first place and how it has maintained it since.
This organization uses the tax exemption as some sort of pseudo proof that it is factually a religion. This claim is false.
If the church of scientology is a religion, then I'm starting a church of technology. The premise will be that technology is god and that because of it's impact on society, it can be worshipped and should be recognized as a religion.
