Currently Social Security benefits are taxed for single tax payers with an gross income over $35,000 and married taxpayers filing joint with incomes over $55,000. I am asking Congress to remove this tax on all taxpayers receiving Social Security benefits no matter what level of income. Social Security benefits should be TAX FREE.
