HELP! Stop another Flint Michigan 150-200 times larger.
The Acid Tar Pits on Lackawanna's waterfront contains 15,000 semi-truck loads of chemicals and lead, buried 140 ft from Smokes Creek which at times has fast moving water that flows (1500 ft) into Lake Erie, a potential for a major ecological disaster to the North East Region!
D.E.C. in 2009 had a plan to remove it all off site in 9 months costing only 52 million, instead 2010 and in 2015 was added more toxic waste on top.
City of Buffalo's drinking water intake is only five miles down current from the toxic waste.
An earthquake or other natural occurrence can disrupt the ground and contaminate Eastern Lake Erie, Niagara River, Lake Ontario and Saint Lawrence River contaminating drinking water of Canada and the U.S.A.!
