Have the US Government Take out Toxic Dyes from our processed food and banned products containing these dyes from being imported to the US.
The UK has banned Red Dye #40 because it is known to cause behavioral problems and worsen behavior with people that have ADHD or ADD. Some groups even believe this may have a factor in the formation of cancer.
Yellow Dye #5 is banned in Norway, Austria, and Germany; Yellow # 6 is banned in Finland and Norway. These dyes are made from the chemical tartrazine. These are also known to cause behavioral problems in children and can even be an influence in cancer formation if tainted with certain chemicals.
These dyes are unhealthy and shouldn't be placed in the products we consume. The US Government needs to banned these toxic dyes from processed food.
