Remove trade sanctions against the Republic of Cuba for greater economic success in the Caribbean.

Created by W.D. on January 30, 2014

These useless trade sanctions are relics from a period of Communist phobia in American domestic and foreign policy. The Republic of Cuba poses no threat to American security and any thoughts otherwise should fall into the respective category and subcategory of racism and xenophobia. In fact, trade with Cuba is a mutually profitable venture for American businesspeople and the Cuban people. We, the signees, demand that President Obama make a move to reopen trade with our friendly Caribbean neighbors for the betterment of the U.S. and Cuban economies.
