Bring the Pledge back to the way it was before 1954. The words "under God" were added as a form of propaganda against communism. This is in no way relevant anymore. This violation of the separation of church and state should be removed from the Pledge of Allegiance that so many of our nation's children recite every day. The state has no business in promoting religion. Religion should be taught by parents, not any government institution like a public school. So, please, bring the official Pledge back to the way it was originally intended, without a trace of religion.
