I propose that we remove "Under God" and return it to the original saying of "Indivisible" in the Pledge of Allegiance.
By including "Under God" in the Pledge we are now imposing and enforcing a belief of God unto the people of the United States. It is Unconstitutional to include the word God in a National Pledge that is meant to represent the entire populace; including those who do not believe in a "God".
We are a nation that upholds the Separation of Church and State. We need to honor that in our own National Pledge again.
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands; one Nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all."
