Remove the United States's one-cent coin, more popularly known as "the penny" from circulation.

The "penny" is practically useless in everyday life. There metal value exceeds there face value. It costs 2.4 cents to make a "penny." The US government makes $7.4 billion "pennies" a year and if you times that by 2.4 cents, it costs the US government over $17,760,000,000 a year to produce the "penny"!!
