This petition is the kind request that the US government revert to the actual history of the United States, and readopt the original policy regarding the economy.
Today, the economy is based on the idea of debt. The state has been increasing it's national debt beyond levels of rational thinking for the past few decades, mainly from the onset and conclusion of the Vietnam war. This debt system that has been established has been the bane of this nation, and in my eyes, I see it as the root of many problems that our nation is feeling today.
In addition, the reinstatement of gold into the currency is something that cannot be ignored. In order to keep the people's monetary earnings safe, as well as concrete the future of the nation, the currency's buying power must be controlled by gold.
