The penny is a blight on the modern economy. It is not accepted by any machine, other than Coinstar, and it's more of a cost on the peoples' time than it is worth. It is a money that costs more to maintain than it's actually worth, as well.
I propose that we do what other countries: Round down to the nearest nickel. Otherwise, we'll have to deal with the daily hassle of a worthless piece of outdated currency.
