Currently, hundreds of thousands of veterans wait for appointments and are oftentimes misdiagnosed or even mistreated by the civilian medical and support staff at VA medical facilities. Putting the Veterans Administration under the Department of Defense allows for veterans to care for other veterans and treat them with the respect they deserve.
