Now, more than ever, its clear that this site is becoming a rather large joke. Its not given any real attention, and has never provided a real chance for any effective change of the government. It is a shadow of what a direct democracy, even in the form of suggestions, could be.
I propose that the "We the People" petition site have its contents removed and replaced with randomly generated and selected pictures and videos of cute animals, especially cats and Pembroke Welsh Corgis. These are all very enjoyable animals.
I believe that they will be roughly as effective as the current "We the People" petition site, and will in fact improve the overall morale in the country.
Alternatively, the URL assigned to the site may link directly to reddit.com, which is also more fun than this.
