Since the word 'marriage' is divisive along religious lines with regards to allowing certain groups to form legally recognized domestic partnerships, in order to ensure equality under the law let us change all marriages to domestic partnerships and then allow anyone, regardless of gender, religion or otherwise, to obtain the same rights of domestic partnerships as anyone else of any faith.
