With the threat of the US running out of Social Security for most of the people in my generation and going forward, I would like to petition the President to have the tax cap lifted on Social Security. Currently, in 2013, the cap is $113,700 for earnings. Once that is reached, you are no longer required to pay Social Security. My question is, why? If there is no cap, that means there will be more money in the account for my generation and the future generations.
