As of today there are 10 military installations named after former Confederate officers. These men betrayed the Oath they swore to defend the United States Constitution, and in the defense of slavery they shed the blood of thousands of their fellow countrymen. These installations should be renamed after soldiers who fought under Old Glory in the defense of freedom.
