Please rename Columbus Day to Mazzei Day to honor Filippo Mazzei: http://www.bellavitae dot com/2011/07/filippo-mazzei-american-patriot/. Mr. Mazzei was a philosopher and friend to Thomas Jefferson, immigrant and Italian hero. Unfortunately, Columbus Day has become tainted and we should find a new hero that symbolizes the contributions of Italian Americans.
