Rename the Edmund Pettus bridge in Selma Alabama to the John Lewis bridge to honor a true American hero and Civil Rights activist who was beaten and almost killed on that bridge in 1965.
The name should be changed from Pettus, a man who took up arms against the U.S.A. and a Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan to Lewis a true American hero who is still serving America in the United States Congress.
