In recognition of the profound effect that prolific author Isaac Asimov has had on world literature, culture, technology and science literacy, and as a fitting tribute to his Russian birth, his accomplishments as an American citizen, and his global literary impact, we the undersigned believe it is altogether fitting and proper that you, in concert with your counterparts in Russia, consider renaming the International Space Station in his honor: Space Station Asimov.
