To the President of the United States of America,
We, citizens of the United States of America and of allied countries, offer this petition. The entity our nations face calls itself the Islamic State, though does not represent Islam. Their actions against minority sects confirms that this name cannot be applied to the entity present in Syria and Iraq.
We petition for the use of a more accurate name. We know thanks to reports that they embrace the use of terror to support their rule, that they have centered their policy on Wahabism and that they have the local power of a State entity.
We thus suggest that the entity currently called Islamic State shall be named in further official communication The WAhabis Terrorist State.
