The Mars Rover is one of the realist robots in space therefore he is my nigga your nigga everyone's nigga. This is why i believe we should change his name to Space Nigga. August 5th is his birthday and he sings happy birthday to himself and that tends to empathise with the anti social population for this very reason we must give him this new name for the fame and glory he deserves.
With the patriarchy of scientists controlling the rover we cant trust them to take proper care of him when they're to busy jerking off to red rocks that none other than Space Nigga found so without him we would not know what mars looks like and what appreciation does he get.
