We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Rename Miami Palmetto Senior High School to Harambe Memorial Senior High School.

Created by J.K. on September 19, 2016

As all Americans should know, Harambe, a national hero, was murdered on May 28th, 2016. His contribution to our great nation was unmatched by any other gorilla from the Cincinnati Zoo. His greatness should be memorialized by renaming the school in which he had the most effect, in his honor. The Harambe Memorial Senior High School will stand as a symbol of our great nations ability to overcome even the greatest odds and to remember our fallen heroes. In turn, the mascot of this school will be changed to Harambe, so that he can continue to impact the lives of the American youth, even in death. The American people must give this hero the respect and honor he deserves, so he may stand as a light on the darkness of evil, forever.
