The Town Of Brookhaven has repeatedly shown that it is corrupt. The residents are tired of the wasteful spending, high taxes and huge salaries for politically connected workers. Recent mass layoffs at the Town to fund the corrupt few so they can keep their take home cars, free beach houses and $115,000 a year jobs which allow them to sleep and drink at work, is too much for the taxpayers to stomach, anymore.
