Rename Washington Dulles airport Eleanor Roosevelt Airport - ERA. It's time for an ERA in our nation's capitol!

Created by C.T. on February 02, 2016

Rename Washington Dulles airport Eleanor Roosevelt Airport - ERA. The US does not have an ERA in the Constitution nor is any major airport in the US named to honor a woman.

Eleanor Roosevelt was the longest serving first lady, a tireless champion of human rights, and an expert diplomat who to this day is well-loved around the world. Roosevelt's accomplishments and leadership epitomize what is best about the USA.

We must celebrate our nation's rich diversity that Eleanor Roosevelt worked so hard to nurture. John Foster Dulles' has had his legacy of service to the country honored for over 50 years. And Washington, DC's other airport is named after a fellow republican Ronald Reagan.

It is time to commemorate Eleanor Roosevelt's unparalleled contributions to the health of our democracy.
