As of now, the fruit known as a 'watermelon' is, in the opinion of myself and surely countless others, very much a lie. Watermelons do not grow underwater. It is true that they contain water, but so does almost everything. Humans are made up of 2/3 water, the Earth is made of 2/3 water, but we do not call ourselves 'Waterhumans' and we do not call the Earth 'Waterearth'. Therefore, I propose that, for the good of establishing common, truthful descriptions and names, we rename the 'watermelon' to something more suitable of its title, perhaps 'landmelon'.
